2024年妇女历史月
Celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of women throughout history
Women’s History Month used to be a week-long celebration, which launched the national celebration of Women’s History in 1982. 在此日期之前, mobilization and advocacy around the United States facilitated the process of ensuring a nationally institutionalized honoring of Women’s History. In 1987 Congress passed a joint resolution, making March officially “Women’s History Month.” 你可以在这里阅读决议. International Women’s Day is also 3月8日th and is celebrated throughout the world.
Celebrating Women’s History is also about Women’s Present. 整个月, 我们邀请教师, 工作人员, students to organize events and activities that support and highlight the experiences and contributions of our female identifying Titans. In "It’s My Pleasure” students will have the opportunity to 1) discuss societal views and messages of sexuality and sexual agency 2) challenge and deconstruct societal and cultural messages surrounding sexuality and sexual agency and 3) encourage sexual pleasure as often discouraged for women.
